This program is designed for youth athletes (ages 10-13) or those new to the sport (ages 14-18) who are interested in learning to row and enjoy casual rowing sessions. No prior experience is needed for this program. Athletes with limited experience will begin the program learning basic rowing skills and technique. If there is the opportunity for on-the-water rowing, it will begin in larger 8-person boats. As individual athletes progress, they may move into smaller boats.

Please watch the safety video provided by Rowing Canada for more information before continuing with your registration. Athlete’s who do not watch this video in it’s entirety are not permitted to be on the water.
