Youth Rowing

This program is designed for youth athletes (ages 10-13) or those new to the sport (ages 14-18) who are interested in learning to row and enjoy casual rowing sessions. No prior experience is needed for this program. Athletes with limited experience will begin the program learning basic rowing skills and technique. If there is the opportunity for on-the-water rowing, it will begin in larger 8-person boats. As individual athletes progress, they may move into smaller boats.


Sessions

Spring Rowing for All Camp

This rowing camp is for students ages 10-15 years old who would like to learn to row or continue learning to row. The camp will include on shore activities and exercises as well as on water rowing activities.

This session runs: twice per week on various Tuesdays and Thursdays in April and May 2026. 14-16 practices will be available.
Practice times: 4:00pm – 5:30pm

Summer Youth Camp: Session 1

This program is for any youth, aged 9-14, who is interested in learning to row. The sessions give youth athletes the opportunity to do land activities such as rowing machine exercises, stretching, core and endurance workouts as well as on water rowing in dockside trainers and rowing shells.

This camp has: six sessions, running on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays for two weeks. July 6th, 8th, 10th, 13th, 15th, 17th.
Practice times: 9:30am-11:00am

Summer Youth Camp: Session 2

This program is for any youth, aged 9-14, who is interested in learning to row. The sessions give youth athletes the opportunity to do land activities such as rowing machine exercises, stretching, core and endurance workouts as well as on water rowing in dockside trainers and rowing shells.

This camp has: six sessions, running on the following specific dates July 20th, July 22nd, July 26th, July 27, July 29th, July 31st (possible make up day August 1st)
Practice times: 9:30am-11:00am
If this is your first session with youth rowing there is a one time Rowing Canada and Row Ontario affiliation fee of $75. Total would then be $325.00

Fall Youth Rowing

This program is for any adult, youth or high school student who is interested in learning to row or interested in continuing their rowing progress.  The sessions give participants  the opportunity to do land activities such as rowing machine exercises, stretching, core and endurance workouts as well as on water rowing in dockside trainers and rowing shells.

This session will run: 4:00pm-5:30pm. 10 sessions with these dates to choose from; September 15th, 17th, 18th, 22nd, 24th, 29th and October 1st, 2nd, 6th, 8th, 9th.

Cost: $252.21 + HST ($285.00)
